FISH FEED FORMULATION FROM TOFU PULP, BANANA PEEL AND PAPAYA LEAVES

Abstrak

The development of aquaculture in Indonesia, especially the Sayang Ibu Nature Boarding School is constrained by the expensive price of fish feed (pellets). This makes the need for alternative feed that is affordable but still of high quality. The feed was made from papaya leaves, banana peels and tofu pulp with two formulations. Feed formulation P1: Papaya Leaf: Banana Peel: Tofu Dregs with a ratio of 3:1:10, namely 15 grams:5 grams:50 grams. Feed formulation P2: Papaya leaf: Banana Peel: Tofu Dregs with a ratio of 1:3:10, namely 5 grams: 15 grams: 50 grams. From this research that can be known: 1). Feed P1 has a dark green color and smells of papaya leaves. While P2 feed is beige in color and has a smell like tofu pulp; 2). From the results of the feed stability test in water, P1 feed has a stable shape, while P2 feed cannot maintain its shape after being put into water (melting); 3).Fish prefer fish feed P1 (21.4% papaya leaves and 1.5% banana peel) which shows the attractiveness of P1 feed is higher than P2 feed
